DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Poetry Month with the Kimberly Public Library and Little Chute Public Library! The 2021 Heart of the Valley Poetry Contest opens for poetry submissions April 1st and closes on May 31st.\n\nThis year, we are asking for 200 word (max) poems around the theme of: The Heart of the Forest. In other words, we want your poems about enchanted forests, tree mythology, the trees of your childhood… write a poem that takes us to the heart of the forest. We want your weird, whimsical, and scary forest poems.\n\nEntry levels for children, teens, and adults.\nOne submission per person.\nOne winner at every level.\nWinning poets will be awarded a gift card to the Book Store on Northland Ave, a leather-bound journal, and their poem will be on display at the library and on the Loop the Lock Trail (coming 2022).\nPoems will be judged by two former Wisconsin Poet Laureates (Marilyn L.
