LIT Nights – June
Join us the second Friday of the month for LIT Nights on the outdoor patio at Seth’s Coffee! This is perfect for those looking for the chance to relax, have fun, share, and hear stories. Each event will feature an opportunity for your works and stories to be shared. Next, we will have a short story presented with an activity with it. It’s like storytime for adults – but better! Seth’s Coffee is open at this time, so treat yourself to a beverage! This program is made for adults and teens.
At the same time, The Little Chute Library will host a Children’s Movie Night with popcorn so any parents can attend the program at Seth’s without needing a babysitter! Please plan to check-in any kiddos at the Little Chute Library prior to the event. While staff will be present at the movie, children must be able to attend this program without parental supervision.
Our June storyteller is Wisconsin’s very own, Sarah Read! Sarah Read is a dark fiction writer in the frozen north of Wisconsin. Her short stories can be found in various places, including The Best Horror of the Year vols 10 and 12. Her debut novel, The Bone Weaver’s Orchard (winner of the Bram Stoker Award and This is Horror Award) is now out from Trepidatio Publishing, and her debut collection, Out of Water was released in late 2019.
