Katherine Freund, Library Director
I’m an aspiring hobby farmer who is always up for making a strange concoction in the kitchen. I love to peruse all the cookbooks, craft books, and gardening books. When I’m not farming, gardening, cooking, or biking. . . I enjoy reading historical fiction and creepy thrillers!
Aubrey Laux, Programing Librarian
I’ve always been a book, movie, music, and game lover. Luckily, the library has all of these! My favorite books to read are mysteries, comedies, and the occasional romance. I also am a huge fan of graphic novels/comics. I will watch almost any movie; I often look for the classic, unique, or colorful. (And always have recommendations!)
When not working, I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing games, going for walks, seeing musicals, traveling, and attempting to write a screenplay.

I am a life-long Little Chuter and in the thick of parenting. My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter, a baby boy, and a golden doodle named Nellie. As a family, we love to spend time at the cottages with our families and partake in any outdoor activity that wears out our very energetic toddler.
If I’m not reading picture books or singing nursery rhymes, I love a good psychological thriller.
Michelle Best, Library Technician
I have lived in the Fox Valley area my whole life. Growing up in Kimberly and residing in Little Chute with my husband in 2007. We have a son enrolled in the Little Chute area school district and a dog that completes our family.
As a family, we enjoy everything there is to do outdoors. We hike about once or twice a week, we love fishing, kayaking and of course golfing.
My husband likes reading about history, my son loves Graphic Novels and I am a sucker for a great Mystery/Psychological thriller.

Hi, I’m Jane. After nearly 30 years of working in the Public Library, I have enjoyed adapting to the many changes and challenges. My favorite part of my duties is helping serve the public. I love when boxes of newly purchased books arrive so I can process them and get them on our shelves. My hobbies include crocheting, cooking, baking, puzzle building, and of course reading.
